Youare buying an extremely rare, one of a kind, over 55-year-old piece ofPararescue history.During the Vietnam War, Pararescuemen (PJ’s) in Vietnamtook midtour leaves to Thailand. While there, many PJs purchased a custom-madebracelet made of solid silver and then gold plated. Iestimate that less than 200 of these were made. The bracelet usually had thebuyers first name and depictions of the PJ badge and parachutist jump wings.Ibought this bracelet in 1971 at Venus Jewelers in Bangkok. I am now 76-yearsold and have no son’s to pass this on to. So, I am going to sell it on .The weight of this solid silver and gold plated bracelet is 3.3 ounces. Will fit a men’s small to mediumsized wrist. The circumference of my wrist is 7.5 inches. I’ve never seen anyof these offered for sale. Most PJs passed them on to their sons. The only oneI have seen outside of original purchasers was one given to the National Museumof the Air Force at Write-Paterson AFB in Ohio.
Will ship USPS Priority Mail with $650.00 insurance.
