This is a rare, premium‑condition Coalport “THE SEDER” bone china Passover set, produced in England for Chinacraft of London between the late 1970s and mid‑1980s. Coalport created very few Judaica pieces, and complete boxed sets are exceptionally hard to find — especially in this condition.Condition
This set is in collector‑grade condition:
No chips, cracks, crazing, or scratches
Little to no gold loss on rims or lettering
Glossy, clean surfaces with no utensil marks
Original satin‑lined presentation box included
All pieces have crisp, clear Coalport backstamps
This is one of the finest examples of this set currently available.
Coalport’s Judaica line was produced in small specialty runs, not mass‑market. Complete sets with all bowls and the original box are scarce, and pristine examples like this are highly sought after by collectors of Judaica, English bone china, and ceremonial Passover pieces.
This set is graded Excellent/Near‑Mint with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, or structural wear. Gold detailing is bright with minimal to no loss, and all pieces are clean and glossy. The set is complete and includes its original satin‑lined presentation box, making it a scarce, collector‑quality example of Coalport’s Judaica line.
