Here we have a very rare Bark River early Rogue Bowie Prototype knife with vintage Westinghouse Micarta handles. On this prototype, the knife uses a stick tang type of construction, Not the later sandwich type, full tang construction on the production models. The sheath is very basic compared to the sheaths that eventually came with the production model. This is a unique opportunity to own a very early Bark River piece. I don\'t believe the Rogue Bowie model has been run by the company for quite some time and this knife predates all the regular production knives. This knife was supposedly sized from a vintage example in the Arkansas State Museum. Overall length looks to be around 12 1/8 inches.
