Rare?? as I can not find another can like this listed or having been sold. Vintage red honey tin can/pail with gold markings. Original cover and wire handle. It states \" PURE HONEY Extracted from the Comb from the Apiary of ......\". Obviously the name of the bee keeper would have been added. The back \" NOTICE \" lists information about the honey and its health benefits. This can would have been purchased by the bee keeper to sell their honey to the public. Wilkes Barre Can Co. is listed on the back as the maker of the can ( Pennsylvania ).
It looks like this tin might not actually have been filled with honey as it is very clean inside and again no name was added. Allover wear consistent with age, but does not detract from appearance.
Condition:
- Used, as found.
- Scratches and scrapes
- No rust spots, dents, or cracks.
- NO HONEY, or residue inside.

Markings:
- On back WILKES BARRE CAN CO.
