Here offered is a rare specimen from one of the large producers in the Tonopah district. The specimen displays mostly beautiful sectile acanthite all throughout the black banded portion and even sprinkled outside there. There is also probably some polybasite present. It wouldn\'t surprise me if some of the acanthite is coating native silver because the acanthite is extremely sectile and some of it appears to have some native silver mixed in. Super neat specimen from my favorite silver district!!
