This is an extremely rare used example of an early 1930's Alexander Keith's IPA beer bottle cap. Alexander Keith's Has been active in Halifax Nova Scotia since 1820. This crowntop has 21 ridges and still has its compositecork liner. It has the classic business of a 1930'scap. It features the Keith trademark derpy stag head in the shield with the latin phrase 'Veritas Vincit' or 'Truth Wins' Around the outside it reads 'Nova Scotia Liquor Commission Beer Seal' which acted as a tax stamp for the province. The Liquor Commissionwas formed in 1930. Nova Scotia, which aside from a 2k isthmus, is essentiallyan island in the North Atlantic ocean. Due to that we have a naturally salty environment which is incredibly hostile toall metal. THat makes things like discarded beer cans and bottle caps only last a few years when left exposed to the air. This cap, like the only other 3 I have ever seen, was found sealed in a wall of an old house where it was discarded by a tradesman plastering the wall after he had his lunch in 1932 and was spared contact with the air. This is a great opportunity to own a great looking and very rare cap. Shipping is included and I will take care of the tariff.
