Up for sale is a genuine mid-19th-century 1/6 plate daguerreotype featuring a rare double portrait of a father and son.
This piece features a crisp, clear photographer\'s stamp on the opposite deep pink velvet pad reading: \"E. Garrett 66 Market St Wilmington DE\".

Shows a beautiful perimeter tarnish halo highly desired by early photography collectors. The case has a beautiful scrollwork design on one side with a dove on the other. The details of this piece symbolize the uniqueness of the era.
