You ask whether a spectator has a credit card of any kind — gas, store, credit or debit card. The spectator comes on stage & writes his name on a coin envelope. The card is then sealed securely inside the envelope.
You riffle the pages of a paperback book and the spectator says stop anywhere he wants. The sealed envelope is placed into the book at that exact page, and the spectator holds the book tightly to guard his card. A second volunteer stands on the far side of the stage holding a second book.
You discuss the mind\'s ability to move objects and attempt to send the card all the way across the stage. You announce, \"It\'s done!\" The first spectator opens his book, the envelope is torn up, and the credit card is not there. The second helper opens his book and inside is the envelope, with the spectator\'s name written on its face. This ingenious effect by Carlyle routinely elicits audible gasp\'s from spectators... because it seem so impossible.
Key Points:
- A teleportation that travels the length of the stage
- Works with ANY borrowed credit or debit card. No switching.
- The spectator\'s own signature proves the card is the original
- Designed as a stage and platform effect
This is a full presentation piece that brings a borrowed object into a highly visible, stage-filling routine.
