Don’t get tricked by imitation and fake copies of this piece. This is an original and in excellent condition. It was a gift that was put away and was never given since our son joined the Air Force instead of Navy. Lol! 😂 
RARE 1999 HANDCRAFTED U.S. NAVY KOA WOOD PUZZLE BOX By WONDERSTRUCK WORKSHOPS
A striking handcrafted United States Navy four-piece wooden puzzle box, made from beautiful koa wood and dated 1999 with over 50 Navy themed stickers.
The underside has a makers mark wonderstruckworkshops– 1999” and retains its Navy eagle-and-anchor emblem.
This is far more interesting than an ordinary keepsake box. The piece incorporates a four-part puzzle mechanism that must be disassembled to reveal the hidden storage compartment. The interior is beautifully finished with a vivid red felt lining.
The top is exceptionally decorative, featuring a three-dimensional American eagle, shield and crossed-anchor design surrounded by raised “UNITED STATES NAVY” lettering. Different wood tones have been used to create depth and contrast throughout the design.
Its combination of koa wood, hand craftsmanship, puzzle construction, Navy imagery and 1999 date makes this an unusual military and woodworking collectible.
Ideal for displaying in a naval officer’s office, veteran’s study or military collection, and perfect for storing challenge coins, medals, insignia, cufflinks, jewelry or other personal keepsakes.
