An absolute holy grail for tobaccociana, vintage advertising, and WWII Home Front collectors. This is a 100% complete, original retail counter display vendor box containing all twenty-four original books of Zig-Zag Ungummed cigarette papers. The entire set is in extraordinary, time-capsule condition. Every individual booklet remains crisp, perfectly aligned, flat, and entirely unused.Historical WWII Provenance:The inner rim features the authentic, stamped war-effort salvage mark: FOR VICTORY SAVE and SELL this empty carton as wastepaper. This dates the set exactly between 1941 and 1945 during the United States government paper salvage drives.Rare Manufacturing Provenance:This specific carton features the wartime side-panel inscription: Made in U.S.A. By Braunstein Freres, Inc. For The United States Tobacco Co. Because France was occupied during World War II, production of this historically French brand shifted directly to the United States to fulfill domestic demand. This adds an incredible layer of global wartime history to an already stunning piece.Rare Egyptien Phebus Variant:As shown in the photos, the back of these booklets features the incredibly scarce Pure White Egyptien Zig Phebus Zag artwork with the inner text reading Blanc Pur Sans Cendre. Finding a complete, unsearched 24-count display box where every individual deadstock pack features this exact pristine variant is exceptionally rare.Condition Details:Pristine / Mint condition. The exterior display box shows sharp corners, sturdy structural integrity, and clean printing. There is some discoloration on the exterior box. The individual booklets inside look as if they were printed yesterday—absolutely no folding, tearing, crushing, or sun fading. Truly museum quality. Please see the photos to appreciate the immaculate condition of this historic piece. Will be packed with maximum care in a sturdy box with extensive padding to ensure it arrives exactly as pictured. Ships quickly from a smoke-free home.
