Rare!Beautiful unique Sugilite stone is approximately 29mm x 19mm x 10mm, plus the bale and soft black cord adjustable necklace. Use as is, or remove the cord and use your own chain. This is another from a great new batch of Sugilite. The color in this one is beautiful, and the natural state of these stones sometimes includes small cavities that become exposed when pieces are smoothed out, as you'll find in this one. So, the surface is not perfect, and is not completely smooth, though it's very close. The closeup photos result in extreme magnification. There are many photos you can view in this listing. Brand new, hand made. I hand pick my stones and crystals for these necklaces, to bring you exceptional pieces. When you receive one of these necklaces, you are receiving a piece that comes from and is imbued with abundance - the abundance of the Earth and the treasures it shares with us, and the abundance of those beautiful treasures that are available here in Sedona. Allow the healing energy of abundance to transform your life.
Sugilite was discovered relatively recently, in 1944, by Japanese geologist Kenichi Sugi. This is where its name comes from, and so it is pronounced with a hard "g" as in "good." Sugilite can be found in a variety of different colors and hues, and may form with other minerals like quartz or richterite. According to The Book of Stones, Sugilite interacts with or corresponds to the 6th and 7th chakras, and also, uncommonly found among the book's entries on other crystals, it is said to interact with the 8th through 14th chakras, which are the "transpersonal and etheric" chakras that are beyond the normal 7-chakra system. And I've got to tell you, I feel it! These are special stones.
Sugilite is valued as a stone of individual and universal love, for helping promote self-forgiveness and acceptance, and for the sometimes amazingly transcendent effects on one's dream state. It is also used tohelp one release anger, and formore fundamental dream work of relieving nightmares and promoting a restful sleep state. Sugilite is the main crystal that motivated my interest in crystals after having a few nights of mind-blowing altered consciousness while sleeping with some under my pillow. Saying that what I experienced were great dreams would be a wholly inadequate description. Sugilite is also felt to offer energetic protection from negative energies, enhance one's healing andpsychic abilities, and help relieve disorders such as schizophrenia and autism.Physically, Sugilite is used to help addictions and eating disorders, headaches, migraines, and other pain issues. For more on the metaphysical properties of this crystal, search on "sugilite metaphysical properties."
