This cap conforms to the US Navy Uniform Regulations issued on September 20,1922. It is in great shape as can be seen in the photos. Complete and all original. What makes this cap unique is the all METAL, pre-1941, right facing eagle cap device. These devices are hard to find, let alone finding one on a period cap. This indicates this cap was worn from the 1922 to 1941. These inter-war officer caps are very hard to find in any condition. The interior is very clean with the sweat band and lining all in tact. Approximately size 7. The maker\'s name is on the inside of the top lining, but I cannot make it out.
