Paragon\'s Cliffs of Dover is one of the company\'s distinctive scenic patterns, depicting the famous white cliffs rising above the English Channel with trees, shoreline vegetation, birds and distant buildings rendered in soft blue, green, yellow and pink tones.
This complete two-piece serving set consists of the footed gravy boat and its matching shaped underplate. Both pieces feature scalloped contours, rich gold trim and complementary Cliffs of Dover landscape scenes.
The underside carries the Paragon Royal Warrant backstamp reading “By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen / China Potters / Paragon / Fine Bone China / England Regd.” This form of the mark dates from approximately 1957 onward, placing this set in the late 1950s to early 1960s period.
The set was never used and was displayed only.

Condition: This set is in like-new condition and was never used, only displayed. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. The decoration and gold trim are beautifully preserved. Only minor production irregularities and light shelf marks are present on the underside.
