An authentic Japanese Antique 3-Case Lacquer Inro (印籠) with Netsuke, Ojime, and Wooden Box, dating from the late Edo to Meiji period. Inro were traditional portable medicine containers worn suspended from the obi (sash) by samurai and wealthy merchants, serving as both practical items and sophisticated fashion accessories.

Design & Craftsmanship: Features raised lacquer work (Maki-e) with dynamic animal motifs—a dog(Lion) figure with foliage on one side, and a bird (hawk) design on the reverse side.
Red Vermilion Interior: The individual compartments are lined with vibrant red vermilion lacquer (Shu-nuri), creating a striking contrast with the dark polished exterior.
Complete Set: Comes complete with a rectangular carved Netsuke, an Ojime bead, and a wooden storage box.
