・Ochiai Yoshiiku (1833 – February 6, 1904) was born in Tokyo and was an *ukiyo-e* artist active from the late Edo period through the Meiji era.
His artistic surname was Utagawa. His art names included Ichieisai, Ikkeisai, Keisai, Chōkarō, Sharakusai, and Keiami. He was a pupil of Utagawa Kuniyoshi and a fellow student of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (with Yoshiiku being the senior of the two). At one point, he rivaled Yoshitoshi in popularity as an *ukiyo-e* artist, but he was also involved in newspaper publishing as a journalist and illustrator.
・A woodblock print of a beautiful woman by Ochiai (Utagawa) Yoshiiku—famous for being a pupil of Kuniyoshi, a fellow student of Yoshitoshi, and a rival of the latter. This piece depicts the month of *Nagatsuki* (October) from a series featuring beautiful women for each of the twelve months.
・Woodblock print dimensions (including margins): Height 35.6 cm x Width 24.8 cm.
・Print condition: As shown in the photos. Considering its age, the condition is average to above-average. There are minor wrinkles and slight damage, as well as a repair/attachment in the upper margin (please note this is a subjective assessment; kindly check the photos for details).
