CAPandBARRELThe cap is in NEAR MINT condition. There are NO dings, cracks, and or major scratches. The cap threads securely onto the barrel. The trim is very clean. The arrow design of the clip was introduced in 1938. This is a nifty and smart looking pen. The transparent portion of the barrel is quite clear and has this fetching spiral design. The imprints are so well preserved and mint that running your finger along it feels like they were freshly scored from the factory.OMAS 14K FLEXIBLE GOLD NIBThe nib on this OMAS is smooth and is moderately flexible. The imprints are well preserved and easy to read. I have adjusted the nib for smoothness and flow.

RESTORATION SERVICES

This Omas Extra Lucens fountain pen has been cleaned and tested for function (filling and writing). It is READY TO WRITE upon filling with standard fountain pen ink.

• A new pump sealhas been properly installed.
• This Omas pen has been fully disassembled, cleaned, and has been conservatively polished.
• The 14K gold Omas flexible nib has been adjusted for smoothness and flow.Beyond making sure that the pens I restore write, I like to make sure theywrite well. Using a loupe, premium micro-abrasives, and when necessary, specially made nib repair tools each nib is carefully adjusted to provide an enjoyable writing experience suited to the particular characteristics of the nib.

I only ship my pens in very durable telescopic pen packaging tubes (that are reusable too so please keepthem). The pen is held in place in the tube with foam inserts.
