Rare NOS / unused vintage Wetterlings 6 lb export axe head, made in Sweden for the South American / Spanish-speaking export market.
This is an especially interesting collector’s example retaining its original red factory paint and original Spanish-language “El Hachador” paper label.
The label is marked “HACHAS SUECAS” (Swedish Axes) and identifies S.A. Wetterling, Storvik, Suecia.
A substantial old-stock Swedish axe head weighing approximately 2.66 kg / 5.86 lb, corresponding to the original 6 lb size designation stamped into the head.

Please study all photos carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the exact axe head you will receive.
A particularly interesting Wetterlings piece for collectors of Swedish axes, vintage forestry tools and unusual export-market Wetterlings models. The combination of the large 6 lb size, original paint and surviving Spanish-language export label makes this considerably more unusual than a standard Wetterlings axe head.
