This is a fantastic 1990s comic collector's set featuring the iconic independent comic heroine Shi (Ana Ishikawa). This lot includes both the highly sought-after 1996 Moore Creations cold-cast porcelain statue and a matching framed dynamic art print that is hand-signed by both creators.
What's Included:
1. The Shi Sculpture (1996): Meticulously sculpted by the legendary Clayburn Moore. This cold-cast porcelain statue is hand-numbered 445 out of a limited edition run of only 4,500 pieces worldwide (authenticated on the bottom of the base). It stands on a custom "SHI" labeled display base.
2. Dual-Signed Framed Art Print: A gorgeous 19" x 13" print featuring a stunning full-figure portrait of Shi. The print is hand-signed in black ink by both Shi creator William Tucci and sculptor Clayburn Moore in the lower margins. Housed in a clean, black modern frame.
3. Original Outer Box: The original 1996 graphic retail box is present to preserve the collection's secondary market integrity. Note: The original internal styrofoam inserts are missing.
Condition Notes (Please Read & See Photos):
• Statue/Doll: The statue displays beautifully with crisp, sharp paint lines. There is minor paint wear/rubs located on the very tips of her flowing dark hair extensions. The weapon accessory is not present.
• Original Box: The vintage box shows moderate age-related wear, including surface scuffing, edge softening, tears/punctures on the top flaps, and light water staining on the cardboard surfaces as pictured. There is no internal packaging/styrofoam included inside the box.
• Framed Print: The print artwork is in excellent condition, showing bright colors with bold, smudge-free signatures. The glass and frame are secure and ready for wall display.
Shipping & Handling:
Because the original interior styrofoam is not included, the statue will be heavily custom-wrapped in layers of premium bubble wrap and secured separately within the container. The entire lot will be packed with extra-dense cushioning inside a thick shipping box to prevent any movement or breakage during transit. Full transit insurance and tracking are included.
