Up for sale is a stunning, authentic vintage Peruvian reverse-painted glass accent mirror. This beautiful piece of South American folk art is crafted using a meticulous traditional technique where the intricate scrollwork, tendrils, and floral motifs are hand-painted onto the back of the glass panels, giving the frame an incredible sense of depth and a luminous finish.
The structure is framed by a deeply sloped, dimensional wood shadowbox style border finished in brilliant gold gilt. The back retains the original diamond-shaped artisan import sticker identifying it definitively as an authentic piece of Peruvian handicraft. Perfect for adding a rich touch of Spanish Colonial or global bohemian elegance to a gallery wall, hallway, or vanity.
