In the style of Meissen or a fine European porcelain manufacturer. Pristine condition porcelain asparagus shaped hand painted etui or cylindrical box with a silver lid (stamped sterling ). No hallmarks on porcelain however with some research there was reference to a similar item in a Theriaults catalogue With picture and description : below

5 1/2" (14 cm.) The cylindrical-shaped etui is painted in the shape of an asparagus spear,in rich colors of purple,mauve and green,and is accented with one painted bug. With silver hinged cap stamped sterling. Excellent condition.
