Eunos Roadster M2 1028 Original JDM Market Sales Brochure (New Condition) Retro JDM / Japanese Market / 1994 / M2 Incorporated (Mazda MX-5 / Eunos Roadster / Mazda Miata)
This sale is for an original 1994 sales brochure for the JDM-only M2 1028, a limited-production, track-focused version of the first-generation (NA) Mazda Eunos Roadster (MX-5 Miata), created by Mazda's short-lived boutique niche brand, M2 Incorporated. This is an original brochure in 'as-new' condition and features 3 pages in a fold-out configuration. The brochure is in a square format approximately 20cm x 20cm.
M2 Incorporated is perhaps the ultimate symbol of peak JDM, with Mazda setting up this semi-independent 'Think Tank' to find new product niches and develop low-volume special versions of existing models. The M2 1028 was the third and final production special they launched on the first generation NA Eunos, and along with the M2 1001 and M2 1002 is one of the most desirable versions of the first generation Roadster.
Condition: A (where A is the best condition and C- is the worst) As new, no age-related wear despite being over 30-years old.
- As new

About M2 Incorporated
M2 Incorporated was an in-house "think tank" and tuning division formed by Mazda in 1991 to build specialized, low-volume variants. The 1028 was engineered specifically for amateur motorsport and spirited driving—designed as a lightweight "Street Competition" vehicle that prioritized handling, rigidity, and response over comfort.
M2 1028 Key Specifications & Features
- Production Run: Strictly limited to 300 units (sold exclusively in Japan through the M2 showroom in Tokyo).
- Colors Offered: Only two options—Chaste White (150 units) and Brilliant Black (150 units).
- Upgraded Engine: Powered by a tuned 1.8L BP-ZE inline-4 engine producing 150 PS (148 hp)—up from the stock 128 PS. Upgrades included high-compression pistons, aggressive camshafts, a tuned ECU, lighter flywheel, and a high-flow exhaust system.
- Extreme Weight Reduction: Weighed just 960 kg (~2,116 lbs). M2 achieved this by stripping out insulation, installing a lightweight aluminum trunk lid, fitting fixed-bucket race seats, and using a unique integrated aluminum roll cage.
- Chassis & Exterior: Featured an integrated, padded 6-point roll cage, 14-inch RAYS/Eunos lightweight alloy wheels, a front tow hook, side vitaloni-style mirrors, and a MOMO steering wheel.
- Because of its strict 300-unit production cap, factory-tuned mechanicals, and direct tie-in to Mazda's experimental M2 division, the M2 1028 is widely considered one of the most desirable collector-grade NA Roadsters ever made.
