MYSTERY: TEXAS CATTLEMAN\'S ASSOCIATION SHIELD PIN M583
This pin is a bit of a mystery. Online research does not pull up another like this, nor does it locate a group called the Texas Cattleman\'s Association (note it is Cattleman\'s not Cattlemen\'s). Was it used in the distant past officially or was it more recently created for something like a movie prop? The metal pin on reverse shows a bit of pitting and areas of rust indicating it is not new, but there are no other identifying marks.
