These were taken by the Kodak No. 1 camera in the 1880s/1890s, as the images are 2½” in diameter. First up is a group of ducks, on a 4¼” x 5¼” card. Verso has printed “This photograph was made with a Kodak Camera manufactured only by The Eastman Dry Plate & Film Co. 115 Oxford St London / Rochester N•Y•”. Since the company became the Eastman Company in 1889, this is an early example of a Kodak No. 1 or the original Kodak camera (the #0 ?). The 2nd one: the back reads “Beautiful Frisky” followed by an unintelligible name. Almost certainly taken with the original Kodak camera or the Kodak No. 1, although the cardboard mount does not contain Eastman’s logo or company name. On a 4¼” x 5¼” card.I will combine shipping with other purchases.
