This iconic design pairs a perfectly clear lucite obelisk with a squared black base decorated with gilt-brass relief plaques of Egyptian figures. The dial sits at the base of the obelisk with gilded batons, and the clock is hallmarked "LeCoultre" and "SWISS" on the dial. The reference number "462" is stamped on the baseplate, matching known documented examples of this model.
Condition & Performance:
- Movement runs and keeps accurate time — loses approximately 1 minute over 48 hours, well within normal tolerance for a vintage jeweled Swiss movement.
- Lucite obelisk is clear and free of visible scratches
- Base and gilt plaques intact and presentable
