Hubley Manufacturing Co. cast iron puppy with remains of original red paint. On his rear haunches the words "Detroit" and year "1931" are embossed. The American Legion National Convention was held in Detroit that year and perhaps these puppies were event giveaways or sold as souvenirs. He retains a good percentage of his original red paint. No chips to ears, toes, or tail.
