Up for sale is a rare and museum-quality original artwork by the legendary Belgian cartoonist Hergé, creator of The Adventures of Tintin.
This piece is an authentic original illustration created for a very specific and limited promotional campaign for the French radio broadcast of Le Lotus Bleu (The Blue Lotus).
This artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Le Comité des Œuvres de Studios d'Hergé (The Hergé Studios Committee), guaranteeing its authenticity. According to the COA, this illustration was created between 1959 and 1962 for one of only four cotton handkerchiefs produced to promote the Tintin radio serials broadcast by the ORTF (Office de la Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française) .
