Genuine M40 Helmet manufactured in Germany for use by the Finnish army for post war military use beginning in 1955. The helmets were formed using the german war time stamping machines as well as rolling the edge. The air vents are stamped as all m40 German helmets which were produced during WW2. The helmet is a medium sized 64/57 German helmet size..Heavy steel construction approximating the weight of \"Quist\" wartime helmets. This is as close as you can get to a war time M40 combat helmet without spending much more for a helmet produced in 1940 Wartime Germany.,
