Pair of rare vintage silverplate candlesticks made by D.W. Haber & Son, New York and marked Waldorf Astoria on the underside.Original commercial hotel silver from the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.Both candlesticks have a classic tapered column form with round stepped bases. Undersides are maker-marked D.W. Haber & Son, N.Y. and Waldorf Astoria. They measure 8\" high. The bases are 4\" in diameter.Vintage condition with substantial age-related tarnish, oxidation, surface wear, scratches and areas of plating wear consistent with decades of commercial use and storage. They have not been polished or restored.Sold as a matched pair. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition and markings.
