This French pre-WW1 Bandsmans Tunic dates from the late 19th century and is made from Melton wool. There is frogging detail to the front and rear and also lovely red and gold braiding on the sleeves.There are signs of general wear with some moth nips and staining to the lining, but it's in reasonable condition for it's age.The measurements are: 18" armpit to armpit, 16" across the shoulders, 23" sleeve length, 26" from collar to bottom hem.
