On offer is a whimsical wooden French forties toy soldier in the form of a candy container. The remarkable figure of a toy soldier is made of turned wood and features a still-intact paper belt. The soldier’s eyes are highlighted in black paint. Beneath the lid, there remains some original easter grass that once cradled a delightful surprise for some lucky child. This emblematic wooden candy container measures 6 ½” tall, 4 ½” wide, and 3” thick.
