Fukagawa-Seiji is one of Japan’s premiere porcelain makers and are official suppliers to the Imperial household. Ruri Budo is one of their most sought after patterns with its cobalt blue and white leaf glaze with gold vines and purple berries.

This little object is a mystery to me. It looks like a teacup but has a hole on each side of the rim making it useless for holding tea. I cannot find another example of it on the internet but thought a Fukagawa collector might be interested in it. The cup measures 3 1/8 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches tall and is in excellent condition.
