The product is an extremely rare, only approx. 2.000 ever , alot was scrapped once Germany reunified, therefore this may be one of the only available bayonet made in East Germany if this kind, also possibly only one in existence w/ survival kit inside handle and the kit has never been open, still in original package, it's a KM87 bayonet, an original piece from the 1976-1989 period. It falls under the category of Cold War Militaria Collectibles, making it a unique and sought-after item for enthusiasts and collectors. With its historical significance and authenticity, this bayonet would make a valuable addition to any military memorabilia collection.
Bayonet and Pommel both have matching serial numbers which is also extremely rare!!!
