Raving about a wooden bowl is not something I would ordinarily do unless it was 200 years old in original paint...but this one is the exception. It is a masterpiece of design and execution and the owners of the very expensive waterfront home obviously thought so too. It is 17\" in diameter and has a depth of 7\". The previous owners were very well-traveled being US diplomats, so it may have come from anywhere. The wood has the color of teak, but the grain is tighter and it is surprisingly light weight for it\'s size. This will absolutely MAKE serving your guests a salad very special!
