Original photogravure by artist Edward Curtis. Titled “Arriving Home - Noatak” with a copyright of 1928. From his North American Indian Vol. 20, this is plate #715. I am not an expert on these, but from my research this is an original. It is paper & cardstock material. Not sure if that’s how it originally was made or if long ago someone mounted it to cardstock for protection. As you can see there is darkening with age. A few white marks and a few darker marks, nothing too major. The image is extremely displayable and clear. No rips / bends / tears, very solid. I took photos against white paper to show it best. What you see is what you get, ask any questions prior to offerding. I have other photogravures from this collection I will post once I see how this one goes.
