Early Unusual Vintage Wood Molding Plane Odd Adjustable Fence & Depth StopUp for sale is an early wooden wood plane with some unusual features. It has an angular-style adjustable fence. There is a part on the bottom side that you can adjust, and each position moves the fence some. The fence is still squared, but the adjustment is angular. See pictures for the best visual. The engineering on the fence is odd and unique but works well.
The other side has a brass depth stop. The depth stop works fine and has some discoloration, and the wing nut even has a unique look to it. Plane body is 8-1/2\" long and looks to be early. My best guess would be early 1800s. Behind the wedge and cutter is a unique little part to the plane that adds character and style. It has a cutter similar to one found on a plow plane and is 0.06\" wide, measured with calipers. See pictures.
Comes as seen in the pictures. Any questions, just ask.
