Up for sale/sale is a historic copy of Dell Four Color #9 (1942), featuring "Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold"—the legendary first Disney comic book work by Carl Barks and Jack Hannah.
This is a coverless reader copy graded at roughly Poor (0.5). The original front cover is missing. The spine shows wear, and there is minor historical tape/wear along the edges. Most importantly, all interior story pages and the back cover are completely intact, making this an affordable, authentic entry-level gap-filler for a serious Carl Barks or Golden Age Disney collection.
Please review all uploaded photos carefully to judge the exact condition of the interior pages before purchasing. Shipped securely bagged, boarded, and sandwiched between rigid cardboard inside a comic mailer.
