Here up for grabs is an interesting miniature specimen from the collection of J.S. Sobolewski. The specimen features very neat small dogtooth calcite crystals atop a matrix consisting of chalcocite and pyrite. The base of the specimen is pretty well covered in small chalcocite crystals that cover a good portion of the base. There is also some malachite scattered between the calcite crystals some of which have sharp terminations. Pretty interesting also how the copper sulfides grew around and squeezed between the calcite crystals cementing them in place!
