Vintage folk-art Santa figurine by artist Craig Kirkwood of Laramie, Wyoming. Cast resin, hand-painted, and sculpted with a rustic hand-carved look — deep faceted "chip-carved" texture throughout the coat, cap, and beard.
Santa stands 12" tall, 7" wide, and 5" deep. He holds a pair of ornaments in one hand, has a stocking and holly-decorated wooden crate at his feet, and a bag slung over his shoulder. Rich traditional red, cream, and black paint with gold buckle detail.
Signed and stamped on the underside: "Craig Kirkwood, Laramie, WY."
Condition: Pre-owned, vintage.
A wonderful centerpiece for a traditional or cabin-style Christmas display, and a nice addition to any Craig Kirkwood or folk-art Santa collection.
