Up for your consideration is the Retired Tureen & Ladle from Cracker Barrel's Blue & White Porcelain Collection. This set comes complete in the original box with the original Styrofoam packing. Although Cracker Barrel did not publish a production date, other listings suggest an estimated era of the late 1980s to early 1990s.The classic floral motif and elegant shape make it ideal for serving soups, stews, chowders, or holiday side dishes, while also displaying beautifully in a china cabinet, on a hutch, or as part of a blue-and-white collection.
I had the pleasure of speaking to the previous owner at an estate sale. She said this was given as a gift. It was never removed from the box and was placed in storage. It remained in storage for several decades until it was taken out for the estate sale. Although the box has storage wear, the contents were untouched and remain in new condition. Note: When I was removing and replacing the Styrofoam protectors inside the box holding the ladle, I accidentally broke a few pieces but taped them back. Even though the tureen set is packed in the original Styrofoam protectors, I will add extra packing. Please review all photos, as they are integral to the description.
Measurements: 12.5 inches from handle to handle and 8 inches tall, the body of the tureen is 10 inches wide. The soup ladle is 13 inches long.
