- Made for Round and Curved Stock: The adjustable concave spokeshave is specifically designed for shaping round rods, spindles, chair legs, curved edges, and other rounded woodworking projects. Not intended for flat-surface planing.
- 65 Manganese Steel: The 3 mm thick blade is made from hardened 65Mn Steel Blade, offering excellent cutting efficiency while minimizing blade wear. It can be resharpened and adjusted for repeated use. Blade hardness: HRC 56-64.
- Adjustable Cutting Depth: Two side screws adjust blade projection and help level the cutting edge, allowing smoother, more controlled cuts on curved wood surfaces. After adjustment, tighten the center locking knob, test on scrap wood, and readjust as needed.
- Durable Metal Construction: Built with a ductile cast iron body and stainless steel components, this sturdy structure provides stable support for regular woodworking use on rounded and curved wood pieces.
- Beech Wood Handles: Contoured beech wood handles provide a comfortable two-handed grip for balanced control. Apply even pressure and guide the tool with the wood grain for smoother, more controlled shaving.
