THE SPINNING PAGE BOOKS ★ COMICS ★ TREASURES 📐 Our Book Grading Standards
We grade all books conservatively so you can buy with confidence. Key defects (such as highlights, library stamps, or heavy spine creases) are always explicitly noted in the main item description:
- Like New / Fine: Appears unread or virtually untouched. Sharp corners, crisp pages, and a completely intact dust jacket or cover.
- Very Good (VG): A well-kept copy. May show minor shelf wear or light creasing on the spine/cover, but the pages are clean and the binding remains tight.
- Good (G): A typical pre-owned reading copy. Spine creases, edge wear, or minor cover scuffs are present. Pages are fully intact and perfectly readable.
- Acceptable / Fair: Well-loved with heavy signs of wear. May feature highlighting, loose (but complete) binding, or notable cosmetic damage. A great, affordable reading copy.
