Original vintage Bulgarian M36-series steel military combat helmet.
Classic Bulgarian helmet design originally introduced before WWII and used through the postwar / Cold War period.
Features:
- Olive green steel shell
- Six-tongue leather liner
- Leather chinstrap
- Original-style interior hardware
- Vintage military surplus construction
Helmet shows normal age and military surplus wear including scuffs, scratches, finish wear, discoloration and wear to the leather liner.
No clear manufacturer/date markings or original wartime insignia were located, so this helmet is being described conservatively as a Bulgarian M36-series military helmet / postwar refurbished example rather than guaranteed WWII-issued.
Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition and included components.
Excellent addition to a Bulgarian, Balkan, WWII-era design, Cold War or military helmet collection.
Sold exactly as pictured.
