New in the box, discontinued by Buck, this 105 Pathfinder was made in a limited run with a blade of D2 tool steel, plus an upgraded Cocobolo laminate grip.
Without a doubt, this particular knife pattern is one of the more versatile offerings that Buck makes, and the addition of a premium steel results in an even more impressive piece.
Absolutely brand new, in the factory box with paperwork. The outer sleeve shows a bit of shelf wear, but the actual box and contents are in new and perfect condition.
I added the cardboard BPS blade cover to protect against the edge cutting into the sheath.
If it isn’t obvious by my other offerings here on , I have a soft spot for this style Buck knife. Years and years ago I bought a 105 because I couldn’t afford a Randall or a Loveless. At that time I was suffering from a huge amount of lust for a high grade, bespoke custom knife, but my wallet was not up to the task. Well, I have a few Randall’s these days, as well as a Loveless, and still find a huge amount of satisfaction from my 105’s, especially the limited runs with higher end blade steels. Heck, I’m almost afraid to carry one of my high dollar knives for fear of destroying the value! This will satisfy the most discerning user, and is affordable in the process.
