Designed by Aldo Londi for Ceramiche Flavia (later Bitossi), this unglazed ceramic lion is an iconic example of Italian Mid-Century Modern design. The sculptural form features Londi's signature incised geometric decoration and richly textured clay body, creating a piece that feels both modern and timeless. Impressed "FLAVIA Made in Italy" on the underside.

Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Light age-appropriate wear and minor variations in the unglazed surface consistent with manufacture and age.

At COMAC Collection, each piece is selected for its craftsmanship, design, and enduring character. Vintage objects naturally show signs of age and use, and any notable condition details are described and photographed as accurately as possible. All items come from a smoke-free home.
