BUCCINIDAE Clinopegma unicum Japan. North Japan. South Hokkaido. Erimo-Hidaka. Trap. 400 m. 2016. 101.9 mm.
"This is typical unicum unicum. Differs from damon by more ribs only on the lower part of the body whorl. From the polygramma by the absence of many spiral ribs on the body whorl. The Clinopegma unicum s.s. is not often offered on the international market. We now got a few very nice pieces, lips not so nice as usual, but perio’s very good with charming erosion as it should be. These are better than the average quality in the literature. Compare with Kosuge’s leaflets." - Poppe
