This quilt is in excellent preowned, gently condition: we found no flaws to report in the business side, and only some faint spots in the backing, difficult to notice in pic # 24. It has no issues with the binding and no odors.
It measures 102\" by 92\" across and weighs 5 3/4 lbs. unboxed: it is relatively thin, the weight is due to its size.
The fabrics we believe to be feed sacks, mostly, but there are some, like the one with fruits with faces, that are certainly of a different era, possibly 80s, and that\'s the reason we placed the decade when this was made in the 1980s.
The other possibility is that what we think are actual, real feed sacks, are high quality reproductions from the 80s. But we touched those that we are almost certain that are feed sacks and compared \"the touch\" with samples we have here for this specific purpose, and the ones in the quilt passed the test.
On the other hand, please know we are NOT quilters or experts, so our judgement can easily be wrong.
Having said all that, the quilt is a wonderful piece and it was very well pieced and the quilting is also nicely done.
The next owners, if they were to find that those swatches that we believe are feed sacks, are not, can send the quilt back for a full refund, including shipping both ways.
