Vintage Aynsley fine English bone china twin-handled loving cup made to commemorate the Royal Wedding of HRH Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer on 29th July 1981 at St. Paul\'s Cathedral.
FRONT: Full-color Prince of Wales coat of arms with lion and unicorn supporters, Garter motto, \"ICH DIEN\" banner, Welsh dragon, Prince of Wales feathers, and the Duchy of Cornwall shield.
BACK: \"21st Prince of Wales\" beneath a crown, with interlaced C and D initials and a floral garland. Below is a detailed family tree tracing both families: King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and Charles on one side; the Earls Spencer, the Fermoy/Roche line, and Lady Diana Frances Spencer on the other.
INSIDE RIM: Banner inscription reading \"To Commemorate the Marriage of H.R.H. the 21st Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer.\"
Sculpted scroll handles with gold highlights. Gold bands on the rim and foot.
Backstamp: Aynsley Est. 1775, Made in England, Fine English Bone China (see photo).
MEASUREMENTS: 3.25\" tall, 3.5\" diameter at rim. 6” diameter handle to opposite handle.
