Manufactured by Broadhurst Clarkson & Co. Ltd. Classic 3-draw brass and leather-clad instrument was the standard issue spotter telescope paired with the iconic Lee-Enfield No. 4 (T) sniper rifle kit during WWII.
Good optics. Fully functional, 3 tubes move in and out as they should. Integrated sun shield/hood extends freely. Eyepiece sun filter is intact (rare). The internal mechanical shutter moves smoothly. Pushing the small metal stud swings the dark tinted anti-glare optical glass filter disc directly into the viewing path. The brown leather body casing and sliding hood covering feature tight, completely intact stitching with remarkably clean surfaces.
This scope is for long distances, so you need to look at things out 100 yds or more to get a clear image.
