Authentic MACV SOG knife from my tour 1970-1972. This Counter Insurgency Support Office (CISO) knife was issued to me when I reported in to Command and Control North (CCN) after transferring from the Mike Force in 1970. I finished my time at CCN in January 1972, returned to the States and reported in to the 10th SFGA. This knife is in excellent condition and was never used once I finished my tour with MACV SOG. In 1999 it was loaned to the MACV SOG traveling museum. Once the exhibition was finished, the knife was returned to me and has been in storage since that time. With a historical significance tied to the MACV SOG brand and the era it was used in, this knife would be a unique and sought-after artifact for those passionate about military history and weaponry.
