Victory Pinochle Playing Cards US Saving Bonds Advert ~ NEW Sealed
Does look like a piece of tape was put onto the plastic to keep them sealed.
Set of the famous “Victory\" cards made by Arrco c.1945 and published soon after V-E Day. The set includes the terrific Hitler/Mussolini joker – I believe they are there since it is sealed – and features court cards that celebrate U.S. participation in the Allied victory. The Kings are Uncle Sam, the Queens are the Statue of Liberty, and the Jacks show the American soldier and sailor. The designs of the court cards are the same in each suit.
